Did you miss the 2023 ALA Convention? See highlights from the convention including the speakers, the fish and other activities that you missed? We'll also discuss the fish we took back home!

About the Speaker

Rick Borstein is the President of the Chicago Livebearer Society (CLS) and serves on the board of the American Livebearer Association and Greater Chicago Cichlid Association. Rick has spawned 268 species of cichlids and 65 livebearers and holds the title of Master Breeder II in the GCCA. Rick’s basement fishroom has 42 tanks ranging in size from 10 gallons to 240 gallons. Rick is primarily interested in cichlids and livebearers.

Donations for our Table

The primary way we raise money for our club is through table sales at the GCCA Swap Meet. Please bring your donation fish to our table as early as possible.

This helps us raise money for the club to present programming to you!

Please bring your BAP fish as usual, but make sure you bring a filled out BAP form with you.
